What is happening with the new play park at Old Mill Road?
The playpark at Old Mill Road is currently being constructed to re-site the equipment previously located next to the Old hall and to include a new skate park facility and shelter.
Work started in Summer 2020 following planning consent and has involved site clearance, ground works, planning revision, movement of play equipment items to site, grass and tree planting.
The next stages are erecting and cleaning play equipment, fencing and landscaping and additional sourcing and installation of skate park items.
