Bonfire Night 07/11/25
THANK YOU for an unforgettable Bonfire Night in Strathdearn!
What an incredible turnout — around 500 people came together to light up our village on Friday night, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
A massive shoutout to everyone who made this event possible:
- Ali Cameron Mackintosh for generously lending us his field for the bonfire.
- Strathdearn Nursery for crafting our brilliant Guy Fawkes.
- Balfour Beatty for the lighting tower, sand, traffic cones and marshalling.
- Dynamic Fireworks for yet another spectacular display.
- Steve Knott, Thomas Macqueen, and Jak Bryant for lighting the bonfire and setting off the fireworks.
- MaCones Ices & Pizza Trailer for the tasty treats.
- Tastes of Tomatin for burgers, nachos, and hot chocolates.
- The Strathdearn bar for keeping spirits high.
- Executive Entertainment for the tunes during the fireworks and the disco at the hall.
- Avril’s Trips for getting everyone home safely.
And to all the staff and volunteers who gave their time and energy — we couldn’t have done it without you!

Bonfire Night 02/11/24
Thank you so much to everyone who attended our second bonfire in the Strathdearn community it was a lovely evening.
Special shout out to the Gamekeepers Nathan (Gamekeeper at Clune Estate) who helped build the bonfire and the fireworks display. Clune Estate for their safety equipment and the assistance of Steve Cormack
The staff and volunteers from the community who helped us from start to finish really appreciate it.
Tastes of Tomatin for cooking everyone delicious burgers,hot dogs and running their first pub night at The Strathdearn.
Treats on the Street they are definitely a favourite within the community – yummy donuts and bubble waffles.
Executive Entertainment – Scott and Simon for entertaining everyone with the tunes and karaoke.

Another fantastic Bonfire Night at the field beside our amazing viaduct bridge — a huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success!
